Carol and family, very sorry to see that you lost Frank so soon after Richie. I spent a lot of time at my grandparents in the 1950's, around the corner from the Kovacs and Chiarellas.
I have a vague memory of Gramma Cola rockiing on the front porch, chickens in the back yard. She died in @ 1957.
Richie walked me to St. Peters when he was in 8th grade and I was in 1st staying at my grandmothers.
He guided me by his hand on the back of my neck.
Since Frank was about 15 years older than me, I think he was working with his dad at the service station at that point.
His mother and my grandmother were first cousins.
I knew most of my grandmothers/great aunt Sara's first cousins. That's how it used to be.
I wasn't real close to Frank; but I know that he adored Mary.
May they both rest in peace.
Sorry to be so long winded.
