Hattie Person Obituary
Mrs. Hattie B. (Brown) Person, 90 of Danbury, CT, wife of the late Elbert Person Jr. passed away on February 3, 2015 at Danbury Hospital.
Hattie was born August 10, 1924 in Bethel, NC to the late Tom and Cora (Council) Brown. She retired working at American Radionic after 21 years of service.
She leaves to cherish three daughters; Rosa Highsmith (Glen) of Bethel, CT, Shirley Person-Armstrong and Marilyn Brown of the home. Four sons; Willie Brown (Launia), James Brown and Jimmy Ray Person (Vanessa) all of Danbury, CT, and William Elbert Person of Hamden, CT. One sister, Mary Lee Howard, Bethel, NC. One sister-in-law, Beatrice Brown, Greenville, NC. Two brothers-in-law, Leroy Person, Bronx, NY and Joseph Person, Norfolk, VA. Seventy grand, and great grand and great-great grandchildren.
Hattie was predeceased by two sons; Milton "Wayne" Brown, and Carleton Brown; one daughter, Daisy Little.
Funeral Service will be held 11am Friday, February 13, 2015 at New Hope Baptist Church, 10 Dr. Aaron Samuels Boulevard, Danbury. Calling hours will be from 9-11am. Burial will be in Wooster Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Chapel Memorial Funeral Home, 35-37 Grove Street, Waterbury, CT 06710.
