Herbert Orlan Obituary
Herbert Orlan, age 82, died peacefully at his home under the care of hospice and in the company of his family on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Herb was born in the Bronx on July 2, 1930, a son of the late Abraham and Flora (Rothouse) Orlansky. Following his retirement from the NYC Public School System, he and his wife retired to Gaylordsville. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and sons and daughters-in-law Adam and Margie Orlan, and Daniel and Tracey Orlan, and grandchildren, Jessica, RC, Jarad and Cassie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Milford VNA and Hospice, 68 Park Lane Road, New Milford, CT 06776 or the ALS Association. The ALS Association, Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road, Suite 250, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301
