Isobel Soukup Obituary
Isobel (Sandy) Soukup wife of the late Robert C. Soukup passed away on September 5th, 2021.
Sandy was born August 15th, 1935 in Pittsfield, Ma. to the late Clayton and May Williams of Lebanon Springs, NY. She graduated from New Lebanon Central High School in 1953 and Berkshire Business College. She worked for General Electric and IBM in Pittsfield, Ma.; White Plains, NY; and New Fairfield HS and MHHS.
Survived by a son, R. Scott Soukup (Barbara) of Holly Springs, NC, a daughter Wendy A. Surovy of Vero Beach, Fl. and five grandchildren- Courtney, Kaitlyn, and Matthew Surovy, Christian Soukup and Alexis Brown. Brothers-in-law Vincent and Harold Soukup of Florida and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A cremation to follow with burial in cemetery of the Evergreens in Lebanon Springs, NY alongside her husband; at the convenience of the family.

So very sorry for your sad loss. I had the pleasure of working with Sandy in the schools, and always found her kind, pleasant, positive, and caring, as well as a very dedicated, and supportive, staff member. May fine memories, as well as the support of family and friends, as well as the Holy Spirit, the comforter, help you through this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Sandy for many years in New Fairfield. She was one of the friendliest, caring and organized front office staff I had worked with. My son always wanted to visit the office and called her "Sandy with the Candy" as she always seemed to have a treat for him stashed in a desk drawer. She was a special lady.
