Jacqueline (Helmar) Jowdy, 100, wife of the late James J. Jowdy, Sr. died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at her home.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 10:30 in St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 17 Granville Ave., Danbury. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends will be received at St. Anthony Church on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Jacky was a wonderful, cheerful lady, one whom my late wife Georgeann Nimer Shields and I enjoyed wherever we were lucky enough to bump into her and Jimmy, whether at church, festivals, or the grocery store! Jacky is, and will always be, a special soul. May God Bless Her Memory and that of her lovely family.
