Newtown – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jan Coppola, 69, who departed peacefully at her home on January 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Anthony Coppola; her cherished son, Brian Coppola; her loving daughter, Hayley Coppola, and her fiancé, Kyle Noury; her sister, Carmella Terek; her aunt, Rose Napolitano; brother-in-law, David Martin; her grandson, Anthony Coppola, and his mother, Anita Coppola. Jan was predeceased by her parents, John and Adeline Berzinskis; sister, Carey Martin; and brother, Michael Berzinskis.
In December 2023, Jan faced the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Metastatic Lung Cancer. For over a year, she demonstrated her unparalleled strength and resilience, bravely confronting her health challenges with grace and determination. Her courageous fight served as a testament to her character, exemplifying the fierce love and commitment she had for her family.

I remember Jan from St Emery's. I was one of her friends thru grammar school. I am so sorry to her of her passing. May she rest in peace and fly with the angels.
