Jane Elizabeth Light

Jane Elizabeth (Raymond) Light, age 88, previously of Bethel, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Pope John Paul II Center for Health Care, Danbury. She was the widow of Milton O. Light, Sr. Jane was born in Danbury, September 10, 1921, daughter of the late Earl and Mabel (Eggleston) Raymond. She was a graduate of Danbury High School and worked for several years at National Semi Conductor in Danbury. She and her late husband taught ballroom dancing and she enjoyed photography, sewing, knitting and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Richard L. Light and his wife, Patricia of New Milford, Milton O. Light, Jr. and his wife, Debbie of Bethel; former daughter-in-law, Mary Fanelli Light of Brookfield; four grandchildren, Jennifer Light Nichol, Robert Light, Mathew Light and Tracianna Light; nine great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was prede-ceased by her son, Ronald C. Light and sister, Ethel Simone. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter, 279 New Britain Rd., Kensington, CT 06037. A graveside service will be held, Thursday July 1st at 10 a.m. in Wooster Cemetery, Section 17, Danbury, CT. Lunch will be served right after the services everyone is invited to Amerigo Vespucci Lodge 160, 10 Christopher Columbus Ave. Danbury, CT 06810 There are no calling hours.
