Jean Rowley Obituary
Jean M. Rowley of Roxbury, CT, passed away Friday June 4, 2021 in Danbury, CT at the age of 90.
She was born March 29, 1931 in New Milford, CT, daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen (Wright) Dolan. Jean graduated from Washington High School in 1949. On February 19, 1966 she married Alford Rowley at St. Francis Xavier Church in New Milford. Jean was a bus driver for the Dufor Bus Company in Washington, CT for 15 years, retiring in 2000.
Jean is survived by her son Michael Rowley of Roxbury, CT. She was predeceased by her husband Alford in 2001 and was predeceased by her sister Donna Fitzpatrick in 2017.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 19, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Church in New Milford at 1:00 p.m., followed by the interment in Wellers Cemetery in Roxbury. Arrangements by the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, CT.
