John gave us many memories especially the eight years of HS and College. In HS I was hospitalize when John (Moose) and Ralph DeSantis simultaneously planted me like a daisy in the CCHS vs Danbury HS football game. The three of us became close friends and I accually spent summers in college living with "Moose" and the Murello family until graduation in 1968. Since leaving Danbury I met only onse with John and his wife at a fraternity gathering at what was Lake Kenosa back in the day. Over the years we lost touch but never lost the memories. My prayers, Masses and Rosaries this week will be for Betsy and family along with brother Bobby and sister Linda.

Rest in Peace "Moose"

The world lost a perfect example of a husband/father, friend, law enforcement officer, and coach. John was also a teacher. While coaching with him one year at DHS I learned a great deal about determination and compassion. He will be missed. Condolences to Betsy, Tim, and all of his friends.
