Joseph (Giuseppe) Sciortino, 78, of Brewster, NY passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL on Friday, May 6, 2016. Joseph was born in Sicily to Antonio and Giuseppa Sciortino on October 27, 1937. Joseph was the owner and operator of Sciortino's Restaurant in Brewster, NY.
Joseph is survived by his wife Mary Sciortino, 4 children, Susan O'Keefe and husband David of Salem, NY, Joseph Sciortino and wife Shannon of Danbury, CT, Joanna Giordano and husband Joseph of Granger, IN and Anthony Sciortino and fiancé Maureen Sheridan of Valley Cottage, NY, and 8 Grand-children and 2 Great-Grand-children.
Memorial Services will be held at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster, NY on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hope Hospice, Development Office, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908 or at www.hopehospice.org/donate.

To the family of Joe: so so sorry for his loss. I used to go to dinner quite often and loved his restaurant, My husband and I had our Beautuful wedding there in April 1988,. Joe made it extra special. May he rest in peace, and your memories stay close in your heart.
