Dear Saffi Family:
I am still crying and just can't believe the very sad news about my beloved Laurice. I was myself in the hospital at the time, very sick with pneumonia, not knowing that she was there too. My sons Anthony and Joseph were with me the whole time and didn't know, or they would have come to see her. They only found out by chance and told me today.
I will miss her very, very much, and I will keep you all in my prayers.

I am saddened to learn of Mrs. Saffi's passing. I will always remember her and Mr. Saffi's kindness to me and the many visits to their house on Westville Ave. I especially remember sitting with her at Laurie and Bob's wedding and listening to her lovingly talk about each member of her family and how proud she was of each of them. It was obvious that her life was devoted to her family, her church, and community involvement. She was surely blessed. I am sorry I could not be with you to share in your grief. My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers. Al Scalzo (and Phyllis)

To all of Laurice's wonderful, loving family. Your mom, grandma, aunt, and friend was a very special person. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a void her passing will have on so many people.
She was the most giving, caring and generous person I knew, but most of all she was a "lady". I will never forget how she always carried herself with dignity and was always dressed beautifully. I had the pleasure of working with her as a volunteer, and will never forget how much she gave and how much fun we had together. Her passing has truly touched my heart and I will miss her and her beautiful smile. God Bless her and your family during this very emotional time. If I can ever do anything for your family, please let me know. With love and prayers, Joanne Howard and family
