Laurie Jean (Shrack) Borst, 68, of Terryville, CT passed away after a prolonged illness.
Laurie's legacy of learning, educating, and environmental preservation is carried on by her husband, James Borst; daughter Nicole Antonelli and husband Rich; daughter Wendy LaBarge and husband Bryan; son Dylan Borst and wife Jessica Davis; four grandchildren, Rachel and Brandon Antonelli and Paige and Theo LaBarge; all of whom she was endlessly proud. She is also survived by her mother, Jean (MacKenzie) Shrack; brother, David Shrack, and wife Doreen; brother, Joe Shrack and wife Susan; sister, Ellen and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Francis Shrack.
She will be missed by her beloved cats, Mongo and Stella.
In Laurie's memory, consider gracing someone with an act of kindness - send flowers to a friend, plant a tree, smile at a stranger.
Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life on October 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. at her home in Terryville, CT.
