Linda Chuvala Obituary

Linda Chuvala
November 22, 2022
Linda Emma Chuvala (Hugyo) (1941-2022) sadly passed away on November 22nd at Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island.
Linda was born in Danbury on June 14, 1941 as the eldest daughter of Pauline and Michael Hugyo of Bethel, Connecticut and was predeceased by her loving parents and her beloved husband, Paul "P.J." Chuvala of Wakefield, Rhode Island and her son-in-law, John Jeffrey Salva of Newtown, Connecticut. Linda is survived by her daughter, Melissa, and her grandchildren Piper and Jesse, her sisters Judy Daddana of Cape Cod, Teri Penik of South Carolina and her loving brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Anne Hugyo whom she truly adored spending time with while growing up and keeping in close contact throughout the years.
Linda was an avid crocheter and was known for making a handmade blanket for every newborn she knew. Linda leaves behind many nieces and nephews, close friends and a wonderful Snug Harbor family whom Linda and her family always had unwavering gratitude for along with love and respect. The generosity shared over the years will never be forgotten. Linda and P.J. built their retirement home on Snug Harbor and they hosted countless friends and family at their beach house over the years. It is with these friends and family that the best of memories will forever remain. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
