Loren Moore Obituary
Loren W. Moore (Pinky) age 80 of Willet, NY formerly of New Milford passed away peacefully on November 4,2015 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 3,1935 in Sharon, CT to the late Howard and Flossie (Richards) Moore. He was predeceased by his wife Beatrice (Corna) Moore, his brothers Edward, Kenyon, Creighton and a grandson Corey Anderson of Washington, CT. Survivors include his children Sharon (Robert) Anderson of Washington, Kathy Moore of New Milford, Howard Moore of Canaan, Michael (Tracy) Moore of New Milford brother Owen(Jane)Moore of New Preston grandsons Jens Larsen(Nisswa, Mn) Rob Keith(Tucson, AZ) Shane Anderson (Marbledale, CT) Christopher Nelson(New Milford) granddaughters Stephanie Pascual and Jocelyn Moore both of New Milford, 4 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Moore was a Korean war veteran who served in the US Army spending time in Alaska and Hawaii. For many years he was employed by the Kimberly Clark Corp in New Milford retiring in 1995. He was an avid coon hunter, a lifetime member of Western CT. Tree Hound Association and the Rocky River Coon Club earning himself hundreds of trophies. He loved his dogs and the great outdoors and will be missed by many especially his good friend Todd Tefft, neighbor and coon hunting buddy Fred (Fats) Carter of Willet and his beloved hound Skeeter. Calling hours will be Friday Nov 13th from 5pm to 7 pm at the Hull Funeral Home located at 57 Park Lane Rd in New Milford. Burial will be private.
