Margot Judge Obituary

Margot Perona Judge, of Roxbury, died this Sunday the 11th 2011 from a sudden heart issue. Margot was born Jan 10, 1930 and has been married to Jeremy Judge since June 1953. She was the loving mother of Geoffrey, Jennifer and Peter, and Grandmother to Jennifer, Alex and Eric Judge. Margot was a great friend to so many people. She was very active volunteering for so many causes, including being actively involved in the Roxbury area locally at Christ Church, The Library, the Democratic Town Comm, her book club, and the Senior Center and its Tuesday lunch program. Margot, with her husband Jerry, were very active in Episcopal Marriage Encounter and became national leaders of this organization which helps married couples to get more out of their marriage. Margot was extraordinarily focused on reaching out to others, often expressed in entertaining at her home where she excelled with her cooking skills and her warmth. She will be missed greatly by all who loved her. Services will be held at Christ Church at 11 on Saturday.

I am saddened to hear of Margot''s passing. She and Jerry made the Sobo;s transition to NEHO in the mid-70's such a pleasant and warm experience welcoming us to their Wellesley home before we ever moved north. She was always a joy to be around. My thoughts are with you all.

On behalf of the students and staff at Hill and Plain School, we are sending our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Judge's family at this very sad time. Mrs. Judge was a very kind person who volunteered at Hill and Plain School a few years ago as part of our Book Pal program. Sandy Nadeau and Hill and Plain School
