Matthew Esposito Obituary

ESPOSITO, MATTHEW S.
Matthew Stephen Esposito, 39, of Danbury, passed away at Danbury Hospital on Thursday March 27, 2014. Matthew was born in Danbury, son of Stephen T. Esposito of Danbury and the late Doreen (Boshka) Esposito. He was a graduate of Danbury High School and had worked as a stock clerk for the Sports Authority store and part -time at Ability Beyond. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister Debra Lynn McAuliffe of Vernon and his brother Gregory Esposito of Townsend, DE. He was predeceased by his sister Kerry Ann Esposito. In addition to his immediate family, he is also survived by Stephen's longtime companion Sue Fenty. Matthew was a proud uncle to six nieces and nephews.
Matthew was a fan of the Mets, Yankees and UCONN. He participated in Special Olympics for many years. Matthew will be missed by his longtime girlfriend Valerie Molinaro as well as the caregivers and residents of Shephard Hill. He enjoyed spending time with his social group friends that he met with weekly.
A casual gathering of family and friends to celebrate Matt's life, will be held at one of Matt's favorite restaurants, Pancho's & Gringo's, 779 Federal Rd., Brookfield, CT 06804, on Monday evening, March 31st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ability Beyond, attn. Pamela Szen, 4 Berkshire Blvd. Bethel, CT 06801. To offer condolences to the family, you may visit www.thegreenfuneralhome.com
