Noreen Carroll Obituary

Noreen A. Carroll, 76, of Ridgefield, wife of Charles Carroll died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, October 1, 2010. Mrs. Carroll was born in Stamford, August 4, 1934 a daughter of the late Clarence and Nora (Brady) Anderson. She was raised in the Glenbrook section of Stamford and attended Stamford schools. A resident of Ridgefield since 1958 coming from Stamford, Mrs. Carroll was an elder caregiver tending to the needs of elderly persons. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. Ridgefield. In addition to her husband, Charles of fifty-six years, she is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Clark and her husband, Michael of Brookfield and Lisa Silvi and her husband, Marco of Italy; three sons, Charles Carroll and his wife, Kristi of Tampa, FL, Kevin Carroll of Ridgefield and Paul Carroll and his wife, Heather of Southbury; a brother, Robert Anderson and his wife, Mary of Fairfield; a sister, Claire Dibble and her husband, Jack of Barnard, VT; seven grandchildren, Jonathon, Justin, Brooke, Ryan, Giulia, Alyssa and Ella as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carroll was predeceased by three sons, Michael Carroll, Leigh Carroll and Gary Carroll. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, Ridgefield on Thursday at 10:15am. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor and memory of Mrs. Carroll may be made to the American Lung Association of Connecticut, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108-3272.
