Orel Robinson Obituary
Orel Robinson, age 93, resided in New Milford, Connecticut for the past 70 years; she died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was the youngest of 13 siblings born in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Otha and Easter Feazell. As her life progressed in New Milford, Orel obtained employment at Fairfield Hills State Hospital and Eagle Pencil Company that was later called Berol Corporation. She retired from Berol Corporation after more than 15 years of service. Orel was active in the New Milford community where she enjoyed activities at the Senior Center and served on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. She is survived by her son, Richard Charles Peagler, daughter-in-law Vashti Peagler, and grandson Richard Charles Peagler II; all of whom, reside in Cortland, New York.
Orel is fondly remembered by family and friends as a person who was personable, caring, and hard working. She was always willing to help others. She possessed a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh!
Calling Hours will be on June 23, 2022, at Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, Connecticut, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Interment: Held on June 24, in New Milford Center Cemetery at 10:30am.

I am so saddened of Orel's passing. I adored her so much. My family and I had so much fun with her and Charlie. Many happy memories of this beautiful lady. My father also worked at Fairfield Hills with her. Growing up in New Milford my parents and I would visit her and Charlie a lot. I used to love sitting on the front porch or in the kitchen with her. The fun and laughter that came out of those visits would make my days so much brighter. She made the best spaghetti and meatballs! I also enjoyed being invited to look at the stars at night when Charlie brought out his telescope. Best of times. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to both Richards and Vashti. Orel will always have a special place in my heart along with Charlie.

Orel was one of my best friends and like a mom to me. We had many great times together for many years. I will miss her forever. She was a big part of my life. May you rest in peace my dear friend. You will be truly missed.

Aunt Orel was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. Her outer beauty was only surpassed by the beauty she carried within, always going out of her way to make sure you knew you were loved and cared for. I will miss her more than I can say but the love she gave us all will last forever- I refuse to believe a love like that can just disappear. Richard, Vashti & Richie: I love you more than I have words to describe. Praying for comfort and peace for your hearts during this unimaginably difficult time.
