Rita M. Ryan

Rita M. Ryan, age 90, died on Monday, June 20th, at Bethel Health Care. She was born in Chicago on April 4, 1921 to the late Charles and Agnes Schmitt. She was the beloved wife of the late John. She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Don) Kirk) of Bethel with whom she lived for the past 21 years; her sons, Steve (Mary) Ryan and John Ryan, both from Chicago; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Tim, and Kevin Kirk and Claire and Rachel Ryan. She was a gentle and loving soul who will be greatly missed. There are no callling hours. Burial will be private. A special thanks to Dr. Robert Wenick and the wonderful staff of Regional Hospice of Western CT including Chris, Caroline, Gerard, Jane, and Linda- God's angels on earth.
