Sarah Esposito Obituary

Esposito, Sarah
Sarah Esposito 7/22/96 - 1/19/15.
On July 22, 1996, we were blessed with the most beautiful baby girl. From the moment she was born she was smiling and laughing. When she walked into a room, it got brighter. Her aura was one of love peace and acceptance. She was very kind and always put others first. She had a great sense of humor and was a friend to everyone she met. She graduated with top grades from Bethel High June 2014 and had just started her first semester at WCSU, pre nursing, a straight A student. Her future was bright, with her caring nature and intelligence; she would have made an excellent nurse. Our daughter was beautiful on the inside and outside. On 11/17/14 she was diagnosed with a stage IV glioblastoma, the worst brain tumor there is. She was gone in 2 months. 1/19/15 she took her last breath and the world lost a shining star. We lost our moon and stars, the sun in our sky. I know she has a special place in heaven because she was already an angel on earth. We love you Sarah and will spend our whole lives missing you.
Sarah is survived by her father, Scott Esposito, mother, Elizabeth Esposito, brothers Nick and Ryan Esposito of Bethel, CT. Grandparents Ed & Carrol Hoefer of Southbury, CT and Dick & Audrey Banzhaf of Lakeland, FL along with all her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and the most amazing group of friends. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this horrible ordeal.
Calling hours are Saturday, 1/24/15, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave, with a reception to follow at the Bethel United Methodist Church, Greenwood Ave.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Scotty Fund, Bethel United Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.

Last semester Sarah and I shared the same anatomy and physiology class. She stood out to me more than anyone else because it was hard for her to hide her natural intelligence. Every class I was awe stricken as she immediately knew the answer to every question, and the thing that I envied most was the fact that she posed questions to the professor that he was unable to answer. Each of her questions were appreciated by classmates, the professor, and surely myself. Sarah had a great spirit and mindset and she will be immensely missed at school. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers, and I am so sorry for your loss.

Audrey Scott Nick and Ryan,
We are so sorry for your loss of Sarah. We were saddened to hear of her sudden illness and of her passing. Although it's been years since we've seen you all and since we've left CT we remember Sarah...we remember her as she walked into Fun Steps Preschool and our hearts with her smile and laughter. She was special, such a sweet and fun little girl. She was in my first class I had as lead teacher and that group will always hold a special spot in my heart. Sarah and I not only shared a Birthday but also a connection that I wont forget. I was young then just figuring out what I wanted from life and Sarah had me realize that I wanted to be a mom...at 2 she had that impact on my life. She was indeed special. Mark and I send our love and prayers of condolences to you all may God touch your hearts with comfort and love during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts. Rest in peace sweet Sarah.
