Scott Russell Obituary

Scott Davis Russell, 53, of Gaylord Road, Gaylordsville, died on Thursday May 18, 2006. He was born in Yonkers, N.Y., on September 2, 1953, son of Charles E. and Lynne (Davis) Russell, of Southbury. He was a graduate of Yonkers High School and attended Tarrytown General Motors School.

Scott worked for CL&P Northeast Utilities as a Meter Installer for 13 years. He was shop steward for the union. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, working with his hands and cats. He was a loving father, son, brother and neighbor. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jared Russell, of Gaylordsville, and Gavin Russell, of Danbury; his three brothers, Craig D. Russell and his wife, Christal, of Morrisonville, N.Y., Wade P. Russell and his companion, Suzanne Ubriaco, of Wading River, N.Y., and Glenn J. Russell and his wife, Krystine, of Cicero, N.Y. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Brookfield.

The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield on Friday morning, between the hours of 10 and 11 a.m. The Brookfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
