Stella Hibbard Obituary
Stella Hibbard returned home on December 1, 2015. Stella was born in Syosset, NY on April 19, 1926 to Lucy and Alexander Zglieseky. Stella graduated from Syosset schools and then supported the war effort working at Grumman Air. She was married to Lewis G. Hibbard for 47 years until he predeceased her in 1986. Stella dedicated her life to her family and lived in Wantagh Long Island, NY until moving to Danbury Connecticut in 2013. Stella is survived by her sisters Helen Boyle of Rye NH, Gertrude Horan Huntington NY and Sophia Pelzar Rockland MD. Stella is also survived by her children Laura Frothingham (Larry) St. Charles MO, Larry Hibbard (Susan) Danbury CT, Linda Natoli and Leslie Hultz Long Island, NY. She will also be missed by her 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson as well as her many nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank all staff at Saint Pope John Paul II for the excellent care and affection she received there.
