Shirley and family,
Please accept my very sincere condolancies for your late husband and father Steve. Steve and I go back a very long time to school, Sokol, Lake Candlewood with his boat, and many other activities when we were young. My family and his were very close when we were in that time when travel in cars was limited to some families during the war and afterwards. His father had a car and was able to take Steve and me to many places. When Steve became of driving age, we were able to get around because of this. Like working at the Lakeview Bowling alleys and going to the Danbury Drum Corps parades. I will always be thankful to Steve to give me the oppurtinity to do the things that I could not or would not have been able to do if it wasn,t for him. May he rest in peace. I will always be indebted to him.

Shirley and children,
I am so sorry for your loss. It has been over thirty years since we sold Dunn's Store (Formerly Faynor's.) I can't believe how quickly the time has passed. All the children are grown up and we're grandparents.
John died last October. He, and Steve, have gone on to a better place. May you find comfort in God and enjoy your life because it passes very quickly.
With love, Sue dunn

It was an honor and a privilege to have been one of Steve's employees at the IGA in Monroe. He cared a great deal about his customers and his employees and I learned much from him. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
