Yolanda G. Passarelli, 88, of Danbury, passed peacefully on Sept. 12, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Peter F. Passarelli; her mother and father, Ernesto and Filomena Crisci; her mother and father-in-law, Luigi and Theresa Passarelli, as well as her siblings.
Yolanda is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Marie Passarelli of Waterbury, Patrica Ann Passarelli of Danbury, Filomena Huntley of Danbury; her granddaughter, Meghan Jordano, and her husband Austin of New Milford, and her most precious gifts, her great-grandsons, Owen Peter Jordano and Carter Anthony Jordano; as well as her sisters-in-law, MaryJane Johnston of Norwalk, Marie Patchen of Norwalk, and Rose Tichy of Bethlehem and many nieces and nephews.
Yolanda retired from Bradlees after 40 years as a manager and volunteered at St. Gregory the Great Church through the women's group and many other church functions. She enjoyed hosting her family and friends for holidays and celebrations, crocheting blankets for her family and friends, and most of all, spending quality time with her great-grandsons.
A celebration of Yolanda's life will be held at St. Gregory the Great Church on Great Plain Road in Danbury on Friday, Sept. 19, at 11:30 a.m. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery in Norwalk. The family will receive visitors on Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Cornell Memorial Funeral Home on White Street in Danbury, CT.
