We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to all of Eldon's family and friends. Such a great loss of a truly kind person. I always enjoyed getting a chance to visit with him at Ohio Grain. I count myself lucky to have known him.

My wife and I met Eldon and Jackie by chance - hanging out at Crown Lanes Bowling alley in Princeton. They were looking for a couple to join them on a Sunday night bowling league and being new to the sport we agreed to bowl with them. And we bowled with them for the following 4 years (if memory serves me). Eldon and Jackie are the salt of the earth and 2 of nicest people you would want to spend time with. Kind, giving, and caring couple. Our deepest sympathy, thought, and prayers to all of Eldon's family and to Jackie we are so sorry for your loss. Rest easy "Big Dawg". The world is a little less bright without you.

Eldon was a wonderful man who I considered to be a friend. Always willing to help. My prayers go out to his wife, (my friend) Jackie, his son Ryan, his son Scott and his daughter Renea. His grandchildren Pierce and Louis as well as his mom Ruth, and his siblings. There will never be another Eldon. Gone way too soon, I'm sure he is farming in Heaven.

We grew up in a farming neighborhood where all the boys were about the same age. As youngsters we played together, rode bikes in the summers. Our dads exchanged farm work and families socialized often. As kids we stayed overnight as each others homes.
Into high school we grew apart as interests changed and Eldon met the love of his life. He followed previous generations by taking over the family farm and worked hard to provide for his family until his retirement.
Rest in peace, Eldon, in God’s hands.
Our condolences to the family

May your family find the strength and faith to begin this journey none of us choose to make. The love and respect expressed throughout the years by Eldon and Jackie has been inspirational . Remember the beginning of their married life, the excitement of creating a beautiful family and their deep love and devotion for their grandchildren. Jackie, I feel your heartbreak but know you realize Eldon is in God's gentle, loving hands. Please know you are never alone and always loved. Peace to you and your beautiful family.
