Born on November 27th, 1948, in LaSalle, to Frances and Dorothy (Kasza) Miglio, Jim was a proud graduate of LaSalle-Peru Township High School and LPO Junior College (now Illinois Valley Community College). He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.M.E.) from the University of Illinois and obtained his Professional Engineering license.
