Born: May 7, 1963 in Oregon, IL
Died: July 15, 2024 in Utica, IL
Jeannette L. "Ginger" Edgcomb 61 of Utica. Passed away peacefully July 15, 2024, in her home.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday July 22, 2024, in the Ptak Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow the service. The burial will be at 12:00 PM Wednesday July 24, 2024, in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mt Morris, IL. Ptak Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements,
Jeanette was born May 7, 1963, in Oregon, IL to Jesse and Sally (Krueger) Gigous. She married Daniel Edgcomb on January 31, 2013. She worked for CHS Grain Elevator in Peru.
Jeannette loved knitting, gardening and bird watching. She loved her dogs and playing slot machines.
Jeannette is survived by her mother Sally Krueger, her husband Dan, and one son Allen Clement. Three brothers Eddie (Janice) Bishop, Chris (Angel) Bishop and Matthew (Sarah) Kaether. Four sisters Sue (Jon) Marcum, Angie (Paul) Miller, Sheila Heath, and Dawn (Charles) Hudson. Granddaughter Angel Zimmerman and a Great Granddaughter Everly.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her father, brother Jesse Jr, and a grandson Jesse. Her maternal Grandparents Walter and Rhea Krueger and Paternal Grandparents Clyde and Alma Gigous.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
