Jill M. Argubright of North Palm Beach, Florida, and formerly of Oglesby, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2025, in North Palm Beach. She was born July 10, 1964, the fourth daughter of George and Marilyn Argubright. She grew up in Oglesby and attended Holy Family School, LaSalle Peru High School, Illinois Valley Community College, and Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
She was a surgical tech. For the greater part of her career, she worked as part of a heart surgical team at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Jill enjoyed house sitting and pet sitting. She loved animals, and through the years, raised four cats that she called her "kids." Jill was very good at working with her hands, and you would always want her there when something had to be put together. She was also an avid reader, enjoyed needlework, and was a certified scuba diver. She loved her life and condo in sunny Florida.
Jill is survived by her sisters, Mary Jane "Bridget" (Mike) Gunderson of Grand Ridge, Lynn (Bill) Quick of Oglesby, and Sharon (Kent) Wiley of Harding. She is also survived by three nieces and three nephews: Adam Gunderson, Janell (Dan) Lukach, John Quick, Erin Quick, Ellen Wiley, and Seth Wiley, and two great nephews and a great niece, Will, Emma, and Jack Lukach.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be noon, Saturday, June 28, 2025, in the Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby. The Rev. Paul Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery, LaSalle. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services June 28, 2025, in the funeral chapel. Honorary pallbearers are her nieces and nephews.
