Linda Lehn Obituary

Linda Marie Lehn
Born: April 9, 1954 in Edwardsville, IL
Died: June 26, 2025 in Cincinnati, OH
Linda M. Lehn, age 71, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, after many years of declining health. She was born on April 9, 1954, in Edwardsville, Illinois, and moved all over as an "army brat".
Linda was the wife of Ken Lehn for 52 years, and a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Ken, her children: Matt Lehn (Rachel) of Metamora, IL; Dianna Petersen (Joe) of Maineville, OH; Don Lehn of Cherry, IL; Mary Davis (Mike) of Granville, IL, and her beloved grandchildren. She was a loving grandmother to her adopted grandchildren: Jaylin, Cole, and Jaxon Lehn and and her other beloved grandchildren- Bryce, Timmy, Ryan, Alex, Ben, Matthew, Hadley, Joey, Hannah, and Ayla. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph Jones and Dan (Karen) Jones of Council Bluffs, IA. Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Lacy Lehn, and by her parents, Joseph and Helen Jones.
Linda spent her final years under the loving care of the staff at the VA Medical Center's Community Living Center in Cincinnati, OH.
Throughout her life, Linda brought joy to those around her with her quick wit, generous heart, and love for her family. Her fiery personality lent itself to her passion for card games - especially poker and euchre - and she could often be found at the card table surrounded by laughter and friendly competition.
Professionally, Linda was a proud public servant, having worked in the postal service, and as a postmaster, for almost ten years. Her dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on her colleagues and community.
In accordance with her wishes, Linda was cremated in Cincinnati, OH. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on July 12, 2025, in Maineville, OH, where friends and family will gather to remember her warmth, humor, and love.
