Lucille Mahar, 86 of Cedar Point died December 25, 2024 unexpectedly in her home.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and private burial will take place in St. Vincent's Cemetery, LaSalle.
Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby is in charge of arrangements.
Luci was born May 21, 1938 in Cedar Point to Louis and Minnie (Valle) Kasik. She married Michael Mahar August 27, 1976 in Ottawa.
Luci worked as a Matron for the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office.
She is survived by her husband Mike of Cedar Point, a daughter-in-law Pam Zeman of Oglesby, a grandson Billy (John Wolniak) Zeman of Oglesby, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Bill and a brother Louis.

My heart just broke when my sister let me know of Luci´s passing.
