I'm a native of Magnolia Illinois, I reside in Canada now. I remember Phil from my days of growing up in Magnolia Illinois. I went to school with his son Brett. Just the other night I was thinking of my years in Magnolia. Phil was a good man. He was from what I could tell a Great Illinois State Policeman. Phil will be missed. Putnam County has lost a great leader.

Barb,Nancy, Brett, & Family, I know it was expected that this day would come, but it doesn't make it any easier when it happens... to actually lose someone you treasured so much. I remember him from all the gatherings at your home and he was a gentleman. He was also so blessed with skills such as woodworking... we still have the rockers he made us! Please accept our condolences. Hugs!

Barb, Nancy, Brett and family,

I am so very sorry to learn of Phil’s passing. I know your hearts are breaking. I always loved Phil’s beautiful smile, and his kind way with all people, especially children. He was a FAITHFUL servant of God, and I can still see him sitting with his family near the back of the church at Emmaus! Now, God had opened God’s arms for Phil, and said ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. ‘
