Died: May 10, 2023
Sandra Jean Nesti, 72, of Spring Valley, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, while surrounded by her family and friends.
A graveside service for Sandra will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 17, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Spring Valley with Rev. Scott Potthoff, pastor of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, officiating. There will not be any visitation in accordance with her wishes.
The Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, is honored to be assisting the family at this time.
Sandra was born on July 6, 1950 in LaSalle to Frank and Bernice (Morton) Sinkevitch. She married Thomas Nesti on November 20, 1971 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Granville.
Sandra was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School. She was employed by Valley Forms and later became a C.N.A., retiring after 30 years. She also loved cats.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Nesti of Spring Valley, Timothy Nesti of Spring Valley, and Leigh Ann (Thomas) Delaney of Seatonville; her step-granddaughter, Isabella Delaney; and her sisters, Karen (the late Dennis) Parochetti of Ottville and Janet (Joe) Zielinski of Lostant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, on August 22, 2017; and her parents.
