Jason Litten Obituary
Born Dec, 16, 1981, in Cumberland, Md., Jason is survived by his parents, Dale and Cindy Litten, brother Dale Litten II, two sisters Krista Smith and husband Justin, and Cassidy Litten, three nephews Jacob Smith, Dale III, and Dylan Litten, two nieces Nia and Jaci Smith, his grandmother Ruby Lucas, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special brother, Jason "Bo" Ganoe.
Jason was preceded in death by his best friend and cousin, Laura Litten, cousin Sam Smith, beloved grandparents, Robert "Sonny" and Kay Fazzalore, Daniel Marvin Litten Sr., and uncle John Fazzalore.
Jason attended Frankfort High School, Short Gap, W.Va. Active in sports, he was undefeated State Champion wrestler, record 34-0, his senior year. After graduation in 2000, he returned to the family home in Montana. Although he traveled from Ocean City, Md. to Hawaii, his love of the rocky Mountains always called him back.
Jason was funny, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a huge heart, a contagious smile and never met a stranger. He was a popular whitewater tour guide based in Gardiner, Montana. It was his dream job. Full of life and adventure, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m., Oct. 20 in the Belfry School, Belfry, Montana.
A celebration of life was held in the Two Bit Dance Hall and Saloon at 7 p.m. Oct. 22, 2016 in Gardiner, Montana.
A service will be held locally in West Virginia at a later date next spring/summer.

I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with the Litten family and friends. Adversities often sap a person of physical and emotional strength, even numbing the heart. When under extreme pressure from your grief may you find comfort in the words recorded at Psalm 28:7 "God is my strength and shield."

Jason, I have so many good memories of you. You rally knew how to make everyone laugh. Now, I am having such a hard time trying not to cry. I am going to miss you.
