Patrick Evans Obituary
Born on April 16, 1993 at Cumberland, MD, he was a son of Eddie and Rebecca Thorne of Keyser, Kimberly Evans and Bob McKone of Piedmont, WV and Patrick Holden of Dundalk, MD. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Justin and Chasity Evans; a grandfather, Emory Thorne, Sr.; a grandmother, Jean Holden and an uncle, Emory "Cricket" Thorne, Jr.
Patrick was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed rap music, with his favorite artist being "Eminem."
Surviving, in addition to his parents are three brothers, Eddie Thorne, Jr. and fiancee, Jessica Brashear of Keyser, Michael Evans of Piedmont and Trey Kesner and wife Jenaya of Keyser; two sisters, Trisha Staggs and husband Brian and Susie Thorne and Gary "Chip" Keller, all of Keyser; grandparents, Betty Selders of Piedmont, Dorothy Bowman of Keyser and Shirley and Curly Herrell of Cumberland, MD; three nieces, Makaila O'Brien, Aliyah Pierce and Aubree Hines and five nephews, Jordan O'Brien, Christopher Mason and Dylan, Christian and Brandon Thorne. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor David Marvin officiating.

The death of a child is one of the most painful things a parent can experience, and at times the loss can be unbearable.
