Ronald Tasker Obituary
Born on November 23, 1938 at Piedmont, WV, he was a son of the late Lula (Rounds) Kelly. He also was preceded in death by his grandparents who reared him, Charles and Carrie Rounds.
Mr. Tasker was retired from Westvaco Corporation with 41 years of service as head trucker in the loading department. He was a 1956 graduate of Piedmont High School.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mary Lane (Saville) Tasker; three children, Rhonda L. Tasker-Everett and husband Kevin of Burlington, WV, Donald J. Tasker and wife Lynn of Winchester, VA and P. David Tasker and fiancee Robin Kennell of Frostburg, MD; one sister, Jean Mason of Keyser and several step grandchildren which include Christopher Greer of Winchester.
At Mr. Tasker's request, there will be no public visitation or services. Private interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Lavale, MD.
The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, is in charge of the arrangements.

I had many good adventures with Ronnie and Harold Evans on Piedmont Mountain (Old Baldy), including running cows to and from the Evans pasture (electric fence). We were classmates at PHS - he was a quiet and good-natured. He was one of the most loyal attendees at the l956 class dinners and reunions. He is a good memory and I am missing him. BB
