Charles Anthony Stevens "Chuck", 69 of Roseland, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on August 25, 1952, in Nelson County, the son of the late Harry J. Stevens and Lorna Davis Stevens McDaniel.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, Patrick, Ted and Neil Stevens preceded him in death.
Charles was retired from Mohawk of Waynesboro with over 40 years of service.
Charles is survived by two sons, Daniel P. Stevens and Jacob N. Stevens; one daughter, Sierra N. Stevens; one sister, Nina Durham (Steve); four brothers, Mark Stevens (Lisa), Keith Stevens, David Stevens, and Barry Stevens; one grandson, Bryce Gentry; best friend and companion, Debbie Stevens Hughes, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Christian officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel, Lovingston, Va., (434-263-4097).
