In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

All of us here at Coors who worked with Dave are greatly saddened to hear of his passing. Since I just saw him and Rebecca this past spring at the arboretum, he had been on my mind a lot lately. He had made a huge impression on those he worked with here, as being hard-working, kind and compassionate. The world would be a much better place with more Daves in it. My heart aches tonight to hear of his passing, but I also know that this earthly realm is but a stopover and he is in heaven's glory at the right hand of God. May we all be so blessed one day as to see Dave's smile again and hear his soft "hello". May the Lord be with you all at this difficult time,
