Eva O'Brien Ramsey was called to Heaven by her Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
She was born October 19, 1940, in Beech Grove, VA. The daughter of the late George & Ocie O'Brien. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph and her grandson, Rian Diehl.
Eva was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a long-standing member of SherLynd Baptist Church. Favorite times were spent playing the harmonica, singing, and playing music with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; and sister, Shirley Miller of Staunton.
Children, Victoria and Larry Diehl of Waynesboro, Jaime Beverlin Loan of Lyndhurst, James "Burt" Beverlin of Lyndhurst, and Steven and Dianna Ramsey of Lyndhurst.
Grandchildren, Molly and Micky Fitzgerald, Jesse Rhodes, Anna and Brian Mikolay, Landon Diehl, Daniel Coffey, Matthew Loan and James Lambert, Lucas Loan and Kathleen Baines, Cadie Eye and Luke Moye, Jackson Ramsey, Cassie Beverlin, Allie Beverlin, Christian Beverlin, Jaye Beverlin, and Skye and Megan Adamms.
Great-grandchildren, Max, Jeremiah, Joshua, Hope, Izzie, Atleigh, Emmett, Levi, Skyelynn, Jaxon, Waylon, Jayelin, Noah and Jonah. There are many beloved nieces and nephews that include Nicole Madison, R.L. Robertson, Crystal Robertson, Liam and Roman. There were many friends that she considered family.
A family funeral service will be conducted graveside at Beech Grove Cemetery with Pastor Allen George officiating. Music by Bucky Fitzgerald.
Pallbearers are Steven Ramsey, Daniel Coffey, Matthew Loan, Lucas Loan, Jesse Rhodes, Christian Beverlin, Max Lane, Jeremiah Lane and Micky Fitzgerald.

I was one of the nurses who took care of Eva when she was a patient at AH&R. We became friends. I met her son and daughter in law and grandson there. They have become friends over the years. Eva was an amazing woman I am so happy I got to know her
