Gene Leeth Obituary
He was a graduate of Western High School, Latham, Ohio. After moving to Columbus, he earned an associate's degree while attending night school. Gene retired following a 30 career as a Civil Engineer II with the City of Columbus Division of Water & Sewer.
Faith played a central role in Gene's life. As a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Grove City, he served as a greeter and usher.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Loretta (Penn) Leeth, in 1998; sisters Helen Farmer, Geraldine Leeth, Ellen Mosley, and Janet Leeth; and brother Roy Leeth, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Worley) Leeth; sons Eric (Kristi) Leeth of Springfield, Ohio and Aaron (Stephanie) Leeth of West Jefferson; grandchildren Meghan and David Leeth; step-son Anthony (Becky) Flemings of Center, Texas, and Deborah Eldridge of Columbus; and step-grandsons Michael (Tabitha) Eldridge and Joshua Eldridge of Columbus; great-granddaughter Ava Eldridge; sisters Barbara Ison of Latham and Rhonda (Mike) Meyer of Waverly; sister-in-law Dana Leeth of Waverly; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 25, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 3301 Orders Road, Grove City, Ohio, with the service to follow at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Rob Stroup officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Grove City.
