Joseph Rhoads Obituary
Joseph was born 6 March 1930 in Waverly, Ohio, the son of the late Samuel Rhoads and Mildred Bertha (Miller) Rhoads. On 12 April 1953 Joe was united in marriage to Mary L (Vulgamore) Rhoads who preceded him in death on 13 April 2004.
Surviving are a son, Ed Rhoads and wife Deborah Waterman of Lucasville, grandson, William J. Rhoads, and a granddaughter, Oksana M. Rhoads.
His Parents, wife, two brothers, Alan and Daniel Rhoads, and two sisters, Bonnie Stir and Carolyn Hergenrather, preceded Joe in death.
Joe formerly attended the Waverly Grace United Methodist Church, was retired from the Banking Industry, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, 15 September 2017 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME, Waverly, Ohio, with Rev. Jeff Rhoads, officiating.
Family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m. Thursday, 14 September 2017 and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
