Robert Dale Setty, 66, of Frederick Road, Piketon, Ohio, died 5:58 p.m. Friday 22 January 2016, in Pike Community Hospital Emergency Room.
He was born 6 October 1949, in Rarden, Ohio, the son of the late Chester Clyde Setty and Leona Mae (Ward) Setty. On 13 November 1968, Robert was united in marriage to Marie (Frederick) Setty, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert Dale Setty, Jr., and wife Kimberly of Lucasville, Ohio, and Alan Wayne Setty of Piketon; two daughters, Rebecca Setty and Michael Waddle of Piketon and Amy Rene Cuckler and husband David of Waverly; nine grandchildren, Kirsten, Kaitlin and Dalton Setty, Ashley, Sarah, Nick and Maxwell Cuckler and Haley and Corey Setty; seven brothers, Chester Wayne Setty and wife Maechelle of Sciotoville, Ohio, Earnel Lee Setty and wife Mariko, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Ronald Lee Setty and wife Elizabeth of Paris, Kentucky, Michael Joe Setty and wife Amanda of Waverly, Ohio, Rickie Eugene Setty and wife Susan of Peebles, Ohio, Timmy Richard Setty of Bainbridge, Ohio, and Mark Edward Setty and wife Angie of Waverly, Ohio; two sisters, Carolyn Marie Setty of Piketon, Ohio, and Sherry Lynn Francis and husband Kevin of Bainbridge, Ohio.
Robert was a retired Associate for Wal-Mart, Waverly, and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era..
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Susan Wooton and Pamela Anderson; and two nieces, Noreta Wooton and Shelly Beekman.
Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday 28 January 2016, at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Steven Wallingford, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Etna Cemetery, Lucasville, Ohio, with military graveside services by American Legion Merritt Post #142, Waverly.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday.
