Gracie Mast

DOVER - Gracie Mast went home to be with the Lord, Jan. 21, 2014, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Gracie was the owner of the Gospel Shop, a Christian Bookstore in Dover, for 10 years; after having worked there for almost 15 years. Upon closing the store, she donated the articles to Capitol Baptist Church, in Dover; where she helped manage their bookstore. She was a very active member of Capitol Baptist Church, serving in various capacities at the church. She was the nursery co-ordinator from 1985-2013; the missionary prayer leader for 15 years; the 24 hour prayer chain leader; and a leader for Moms in Touch for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Church and a niece Shonna Church. Gracie is survived by her husband, Henry D. Mast; her mother, Caroline (Sahota) Church, of Dover; four children, Paul Mast, of Eolia, Ky..; Kim DiSalvo, & her husband, Joey, of Dover; Doug Mast & his wife, Jessica, of Felton; and Caroline Hunt & her husband, Chad, of Avondale, Ariz.; her siblings, Carolyne Lane, of Harrington; Paul "Bo" Church and wife, Mariyln, of Dover; and Gene Church and wife, Kelly of Hartly; and her eight grandchildren, Mandi & Tommy Kearns, Ashleigh & Shelby Mast, Hunter & Keira Mast, and Trent & Brennan Hunt. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Capitol Baptist Church, 401 Kesselring Ave., Dover; where family and friends may view from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. A fellowship will be held at Gracy and Henrys home from 4 to 7 p.m. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
