Lawrence Randel Samons Sr.

1962 - 2025

Randy was born October 27, 1962, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Audis R. Samons Sr. and Helen (Tyler). He departed this earthly life on July 25, 2025. He became of Christian faith at the age of 8 years old. Randy was a father and mother to his children, who he loved so very much. He was also a great papa that loved his babies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Randy would always be seen at his kid's events, supporting them every step of the way.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Horace Monroe Samons and Emily Francis (Gould) Samons; maternal grandparents Palmer Tyler and Lola May (Kimbel) Tyler; father Audis R. Samons Sr. and Helena Uvalia (Tyler) Samons; sisters Ganie Uvalia (Samons) Collett and Susan Denise (Samons) Blanton.
He is survived by his children; Lawrence Randel Samons Jr. (Randy) Lisa (Ford) Samons of Valley Springs, Arkansas and children: Zach, Sara, and Savannah of the home; Latasha Ray-Lynn McFall (Samons) of Western Grove, Arkansas and children: Olivia and Jaxon of the home. Also, Randy is survived by a brother Audis R Samons Jr. (Audie Ray) Suzanne of Harrison, Arkansas Brother in law Troy L. Collett of Batesville Arkansas. Several nieces and nephews, and family members.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Western Grove Bible Church of Western Grove, Arkansas on Tuesday July 29, 2025. The family will be receiving friends and family at 2:00PM, services to follow. Pastor Dennis Sisco will be officiating the service. Honorary pallbearers: Staff at Springs of Mt. Vista of Harrison and Dr. Schafer and Staff of Highland Oncology of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation, located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
