ALEXANDER JOHNSON Obituary

JOHNSON, ALEXANDER R. JR. Mr. Alexander R. “Jib” Johnson, Jr. age 76, beloved husband of Jean (Schlitter) Johnson, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, Oct 1, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late Alexander R. Johnson, Sr. and Katherine (Bugel) Johnson and was born on Dec. 15, 1937 in New Haven. Mr. Johnson was a sheet metal worker for Bethany Steel Metal for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, his saw mill, gardening and auto racing. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two devoted sons, Jeff and his wife, Tricia and Scott, five grandchildren, Pamela, Amanda, Christopher, Kenney and Alexa and several nieces and nephews. Calling Hours are Tuesday, Oct. 7th from 4 to 5 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 5 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St, Seymour. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Historical Society, 512 Amity Rd., Bethany, CT 06524. To share a memory, please go only to www.hullfh.com
