Alphonse Palange Obituary
Alphonse Palange of Bethel, formerly of New Haven, died on September 29, 2024 due to respiratory failure at his home with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Donna Rae Palange.
Born in New Haven on September 22, 1944, the son of the late Fortunato and Lucy Casanova Palange, Alphonse graduated from Eli Whitney Technical School in 1962 and joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 90 and was a member for 60 years. He loved to play golf, watching anything western on tv and was a member of the St. Andrew the Apostle Society. He loved God and his family.
Besides his wife, Alphonse is survived by his children Gina (Sean) Brennan, Tonya (fiancée) Robert, and Nicole (Chris) Vetter. Proud grandfather of Dalton, Fannie, Parris, Cole, Christian, Tatiana and Anthony and great-grandfather of Jayvoni. He was predeceased by his son Christopher Michael and his brother Angelo Palange.
Visiting hours will be Monday October 7th from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place, New Haven. A service will take place in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. followed by burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org.
