Andrew Diotaiuto, 81, of North Haven, died peacefully at home on November 13, 2025 surrounded by his large loving family. He was the beloved husband of Rosanne Russo Diotaiuto. Andrew was born in New Haven on March 12, 1944 to the late Andrew and Maria Grace Penna Diotaiuto.
Andrew worked as a barber for over 60 years. He was the owner of Andy's Unique Haircutters. He loved talking with all of his customers, sharing stories and making memories to last a lifetime. Andy enjoyed watching his grandchildren play hockey and also loved taking them crabbing. He always enjoyed having his family with him for the holidays. Andy loved the President as well as listening to the music of the '50s and '60s while he sang along with his beautiful voice.
He was the proud father of Gloriann Longobardi (Matthew W.), Andrew M. Diotaiuto (Joanne) and Maria Tondalo (Dennis, Jr.) He loved his grandchildren Matthew A. Longobardi (Brianna), Madison Tomassini (Dante), Andrew and Melissa Diotaiuto, Anthony Tondalo (Daniela), Joseph and Nicholas Tondalo.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, November 19th from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Pl., New Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Blessed Michael McGivney Parish at St. Michael Church at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be private.
