Ann Consorte Obituary

Ann ""Chick"" Marie Servidio Consorte, 93, of Hamden, wife of the late Joseph G. Consorte, Sr., passed away peacefully on December 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury.

Ann was born in Westerly, RI, June 9, 1918, the daughter of the late James and Rose Ferrara Servidio. She married in April 1945 and lived in New Haven for eleven years and Hamden for the past fifty-five years. Ann was a very devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Ann is survived by a daughter, Katherine Arnold, and soulmate, Carmen Sacchettti of Hamden, sons, Joseph Consorte, Jr. and his wife MaryAnn of Terryville and Mark Consorte of Hamden. She is also survived by sisters, Irene Nadolny of CA, Rita Myllymaki, Josephine Conklin, Mary West, and Lillian Uzzi all of Westerly, RI and a brother, Mario Servidio also of Westerly RI, two grandchildren, Jeffrey Arnold of Hamden and Andrea Lecis of ME, and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Angelina Woodard and Camille Vecillio and brothers, Samuel and Eugene Servidio.

Ann was a devoted parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church, Hamden. Ann worked for many years in the cafeteria of the former Sleeping Giant and Michael J. Whalen Hamden Middle Schools.
