Anna Starzyk

STARZYK, ANNA Anna Starzyk, age 94, of Derby, entered into rest on Monday, April 14, 2014, at the Birmingham Health Center. She was the devoted wife of the late John Starzyk. Mrs. Starzyk was born in Poland, on November 15, 1919, daughter of the late Michael and Maria Tanycz and was a Derby resident for most of her life. She was employed at Sikorsky for many years until her retirement. Mrs. Starzyk is the loving aunt of Judy Marcucio and her husband Ken and beloved great aunt of Karen, Ken, Jr., Brian and Scott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Starzyk is predeceased by a brother Andrew and two sisters, Stella and Julia. Friends may call on Monday morning from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. Her funeral procession will follow at 8:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at St. Michael Church. Her burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery.
