June 12, 1944 ~ September 19, 2021
Anthony "Butch" DeLeonardo, 77, of Guilford died at home Sept. 19th after a long illness. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Friends are asked to go directly to St. Barnabas church, North Haven, THURSDAY 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Beaverdale memorial Park. I am so sad to see that Butch wasn't able to beat his health challenges. He was an animal lover who was fun, generous and a loving person who enjoyed life - no matter what he was faced with. My heart sank when I saw Butch's obituary and noticed the date that he passed - he sent me a text on September 10. I know that he is now at peace as he joins his parents and sister. My deepest sympathy to all the members of Butch's family.
