Arthur Neil Haut, 90, of Madison, CT, passed away on October 15, 2025, at Whitney Center. He was born in Bridgeport, CT, the son of David and Ida Haut.
A graduate of Boston University, Arthur taught Accounting and Tax at Yale's School Of Organization And Management. In later years, he worked for Marcum LLP, and performed private business valuations.
He enjoyed sailing (both competitively and recreationally), tennis, supporting UConn Huskies basketball, and spending time with his family.
Arthur was preceded in death by his sisters Barbara and Rita Haut. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine (Schine), stepsons John (Karen) Raybin and Gregg Raybin. He adored and loved his grandson, Alex Raybin and his many cousins and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Whitney Center in Hamden, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org). Condolences may be sent to the family at: [email protected]
